Brands can be heard from across the gym. Her agility on the court puts her in the position to make an aggressive play on any ball that comes her way. She has a fast approach giving her time to get to the ball and see the blockers before contact. When working around the blockers, Brands high and fast swing allows her to make big plays. She has complete control of the ball when swinging and performs multiple shots to keep her opponents guessing her next move. When blocking, her fast feet get her in front of the hitter early with time to adjust the the swing getting multiple stops and touches.
