Wood (middle picture) looks ready to dominate at the pins for the Scotties this fall. She gets on top of balls and sends them screaming to the ground. Wood takes great four-step approaches and powers over hard crosses. She is especially tough on go routes. Wood rips seams with precision and tools blocks. Wood can even take hard swings from the back row if Glasgow needs a big play. Wood is also a sound passer.

Wood hopes to bring more valuable play to the Scotties these next two seasons. She makes solid, consistent passes then can quickly adjust to take big rips. She even makes things happen out of system and is an aggressive server.

Wood displays good versatility for the Scotties. She makes sound first touches then quickly gets into her attacking stance to make things happen offensively. Wood takes good angles off blockers and can shove balls to the left line. She takes quality out of system swings. Wood also makes things happen with her passing and serving. Wood had 212 kills, 175 digs and 48 aces for Glasgow this past fall.
