Davis has turned into one of the more dominant hitters in the 14th Region. Davis uses an outstanding wrist snap to smack balls to the ground. She can smack balls to corners and off blocks for big points. Davis uses her off (left) hand to surprise defenders and make quick adjustments to push balls to corners. Davis also does a great job forming double blocks with opponents.

Davis (pictured) is mainly a middle blocker, but played outside filling in for an injured teammate. She is strong on the go routes. Davis pounds down crosses on one play then goes down from zone four to zone one on the next play. Davis has put a lot of work into getting on top of balls and it shows on the court. Davis said she has put time in the gym building strong shoulders and biceps and working to swing at balls as fast as she can.

Davis has emerged this season for the Commodores after seeing limited varsity action last year. Davis puts balls away a number of different ways. Davis hammers the to the back row and can also pull up at the last minute to sends soft ones to different parts of the court. She redirects overpassed balls away from defenders. Davis uses her size well to record both solo blocks and double blocks if not getting touches on balls to help out the defensive specialists. Davis is also a sound server.
