How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am calculated on the court, skillfully running a 5-1 setter and demonstrating authentic leadership. I try to be a commanding presence and a strategic player.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
Strength in maintaining the team when it seems we might lose, I can apply leadership to alter the outcome.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am actively engaged in the National Junior Honor Society. I anticipate participating in numerous additional clubs upon commencing my freshman year of high school.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
As a young setter, I have recognized that leadership is a significant part of my role on the court. I believe that as I continue to develop my skills each year, I also need to strengthen my leadership and teamwork abilities. I am committed to improving, working harder, and demonstrating growth each year with my team.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I tore my UCL during my first year playing club. I was 10 years old, playing on a U12 team. I had what is known as a Tommy John tear. I ended my first club season after only 3 tournaments. It was a very painful injury that required me to wear a full-length arm brace for 7 weeks, followed by 6 weeks of rehab. It took me a long time to become confident to play again but I did and I am glad.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am interested in pursuing Real Estate Law or Marine Biology, preferably near Alabama.
