Sizzle Studs Who Could Have Massive High School Seasons

The Sizzle is a peek into what the high school season could look like for some teams. It is a glimpse into what our next few months could look like, and it gets me that much more excited to see which athletes could step into huge leadership roles this season.    Andie works nonstop on the court. She is an absolute gamer who is relentless, consistent, and leads by example. There is nothing she expects her teammates to do that she won't do herself. She delivers in every possible way. She was making great connections with each of her hitters at the Sizzle, and that will only continue to develop as the season gets underway. Andie is an incredibly talented setter who can run in all six rotations and is likely to step into a big leadership role this year. Based on her performance at the Sizzle, she is more than ready.     Kenley is an athlete who has flown a little under the radar until this year. She is a talented setter who runs the court like a seasoned leader. She is also a powerhouse hitter who can play all six rotations on the pin. Kenley is a very well-rounded athlete who is relentless, aggressive, smart, and consistent. She has already had a massive impact on this program and has only elevated her game more during the club season.     Kailyn brings a spark of energy to the court and is the type of player you just want to be playing all the time. She was setting for NDA at the Sizzle and did a great job running the offense, picking up tough balls in defense, and being a high-level leader and communicator for her team. She is a gamer with a keen eye for what her team needs at every moment.     Laila is a quick and savvy setter who feeds her hitters with precision and efficiency. She is a setter who consistently catches my eye at events, whether it is club or high school, because she delivers every time she is on the court. Her impact on her team's success cannot be overstated. Laila is a consistent force on the court and an athlete who works incredibly hard for her team.     Ireland is such an explosive athlete. She knows how to earn points, amp up her team, and play with both passion and control. She finds the balance between consistency and aggressiveness, which is incredibly tough to do. Ireland seems to be one of those players you love to have on your team and don't want to go up against. She finds ways to pick apart opposing defenses with lethal precision, and her hits pack a punch.     Eden was at the libero position for Northland Pines and did a really great job. What impressed me the most was how much space she covered on serve receive, freeing up her hitters to transition sooner. She was always ready for anything that came over the net, from hard-driven balls to sneaky tips. Eden looked right at home defending the back court at the varsity pace for her team at the Sizzle.     Mia is as gritty as they come. She is competitive on every play and is always hungry for the ball. No matter if she just chased a ball off the court, or is in the front or back row, Mia wants to be set. She is lethal in pass to attack and disciplined in transition. Mia is incredibly well-rounded and contributes in nearly every aspect of the game. She played on the pin at the Sizzle and did a great job. Her hustle and scrappiness really set her apart.     Stella is a high-flying and powerful pin who is nearly unstoppable when she gets going. She mixes up the speed and location of her shots, takes an explosive approach, and is hard to read. Stella is a skilled six-rotation athlete who works hard on every play. She is the type of teammate who leads by example and is reliable from the first point to the last.

The Sizzle is a peek into what the high school season could look like for some teams. It is a glimpse into what our next few months could look like, and it gets me that much more excited to see which athletes could step into huge leadership roles this season.
