How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a JUST GO! mentality. I'm an excellent communicator and lead the back row with confidence and positive energy. It's my job to build up my teammates and make everyone around me better.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court is: nothing hits the ground. I am a very fun person to play with and cheer for my team to uplift our energy. I am also a very passionate player and constantly working on my physical and mental game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in service club for my second year. We work on giving back to our community and helping those in need. I have also been asked to take over as president for the club next year! I have consistently received Head of School honor roll, which recognizes students with top academic achievements.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was Student Government President in 8th grade. This year I'm working as a student ambassador at The Pine School. This involves giving school tours and answering questions to prospective students and their families as well as volunteering at school functions and events. I was a member of NJHS and am looking forward to the opportunity to apply to NHS and Spanish Honor Society this year.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was younger, I struggled with my mental toughness and had emotional breakdowns. Especially when I played volleyball. I have worked for many years to successfully overcome that. If you ever watch me play, you will immediately notice my positive attitude and uplifting nature. Mistakes are part of the game and I've learned to move on and stay focused for the next point.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm very open minded when it comes to the size and location of the college I attend. Most importantly, I want to find an environment that challenges me both academically and athletically. I absolutely love this sport and it's my goal to continue playing volleyball in college.
