Austin’s Surprise Stars from Nebraska Stock Up Showcase

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>These showcases always bring out a few breakout performers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I'm fortunate enough to cover Nebraska's prep volleyball athletes year-round, so I build a catalog of observations through every event and tournament. Last weekend's Nebraska Stock Up Showcase inevitably drew players we've watched before, but this was a massive opportunity to demonstrate growth and transform narratives. That's the essence of this feature.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Today's spotlight goes to a handful of Stock Up Showcase entrants who were pleasant surprises in La Vista. The Omaha Concordia pin hitter was an indispensable part of Club Legacy 16 Alpha's extraordinary 2025 campaign and has consistently touched higher and higher at the net. We've seen Stater thrive on our showcase circuit before, but Saturday's outing was her best yet. She wielded her electric arm during team drills and remained incredibly active in the back row. This club racked in accolades at the 16s level, and that extends to Case and her 16 Bravo crew. Case anchored the libero spot for 16 Bravo and compiled a sensational highlight tape at regional and national venues. This allowed us to track Damper's development from one event to the next, and we can see the considerable gains from this Nebraska Elite star. Damper's all-around game has grown after competing at the Open level throughout the 2025 club season. This translated to sensational first touches during defensive drills and an uncanny ability to pass under pressure. Frink set a high bar for her showcase outing after lighting up the scoreboard at GJNC. She was an all-around contributor for Premier Nebraska 15 Black as the team earned a runner-up finish in the 15 Freedom division. This 2028 athlete looked even more effective in person, as she used opposing hands to her advantage and capitalized on open seams. Williams trekked to our showcase with her fellow outside hitter from Kearney Elite 16-1, giving us a pair of exceptional central Nebraska terminators. Six-on-six action gave us the best from Williams, who feeds off the pressure of live competition. Morgan and Club Legacy 15 Alpha earned a division championship at the Show Me Qualifier, putting this up-and-coming squad on our radar heading into GJNC. Morgan's burst and power at the net are just one part of her on-court appeal.
