Her positioning in serve receive was advanced for her class year. She was reading server tendencies and adjusting her starting position between reps rather than standing in the same spot every rotation, which reflects a level of court awareness that goes beyond physical tools. When she dug attacks she kept her platform angled toward her target rather than simply getting the ball up and the location she provided on first contact gave her setter consistent options. She covered the seam between left back and center back with the kind of lateral range that requires both length and anticipation and she demonstrated both throughout the event. The communication she provided to the players around her was specific and timely, not generic encouragement, which is the difference between a libero who talks and one who actually organizes a defense.
