Nimmergut has continued to grow her game and looks very comfortable as a rising junior and veteran setter for her Roosevelt HS team as they look to repeat qualifying for the WA state tournament in 2026. Her level demeanor is a key part of her command of the court as she doesn’t get too high or low emotionally while sustaining her effort and communication with those around her. Her footwork is efficient and allows her to get balanced to finish her movement and extension in all directions.

Nimmergut does an excellent job setting on the move. The Roosevelt 2028 can run full speed, then get her feet to the ball and slow down enough not to overset her attacker. When she has to stay on the move, Nimmergut uses her smooth and accurate platform to keep the offense moving. Her defensive play is disciplined; she doesn’t leave early and knows when to play the ball overhead with her hands to prevent an easy kill to the deep corner.

Nimmergut displayed one of the cleanest contacts and extensions as her touch point is high and soft through her release. She did a good job of adapting very quickly early on in the session. She moves well to be able to set a variety of options to the pins and quick middle situations with good control and connection. The success she found early though is an example of her command as a setter.

Nimmergut is a confident player; she is not afraid to reverse the flow of the offense or push a fast tempo set to the outside pin when the matchup is right. The Roosevelt prospect is crafty and makes good decisions- she will find the one-on-one attacker by holding the opposing middle. Nimmergut has a solid platform defensively and has the length to make plays at the net as a blocker and attacker.
