There are no new #1s in this week’s rankings, but there are certainly a few teams on the move.
In Class A, Omaha Marian is the biggest mover, moving up four spots to #4 on the strength of winning the Lincoln Public Schools Volleyball Classic over the weekend. It has taken a little while, but there seems to be a handful of teams in Class A beginning to break away from the pack in terms of consistent play.
Class C-2 also saw a few teams shoot up the rankings. Superior is off to an 11-0 start and enters the rankings at #5. Superior has notched five victories over teams with winning records, including Blue Hill last week. West Point Guardian Angels Central Catholic goes from #7 to #4 in C-2 on the strength of its recent win over former Class C-1 #10 Wayne.
Millard West retains the top spot in Class A while other top-ranked teams include Grand Island Northwest (Class B), Columbus Scotus (Class C-1), Hastings St. Cecilia (Class C-2), North Platte St. Patrick’s (Class D-1) and Mead (Class D-2).
