About Camila

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My playing style is most often described as creative and strategic.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

The mentality that I always try to be in is volleyball is a team sport and the strongest 6 will be the strongest. This reminds me I should support my team so everyone can play to their full potential.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received awards for being apart of my honor music program in multiple instruments, and various high GPA awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have strengthened my leadership and teamwork skills, as I was captain my last season and better communicated with my teamates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced some tough mental challenges, but have learnt to overcome these problems with volleyball and cross country.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college with strong academics and pre-med, but still supports student-athletes. I would like a college where I can balance sports and work. A good campus community and opportunities for growth on and off the court are important to me.
