The Power Seven of 5A Colorado Volleyball - Part Two

<p>In honor of NFL Draft season, we're keeping the theme rolling with Part Two of the Power Seven. The first round brought the heat, but this next lineup proves there's even more star power to be seen across 5A. From explosive attackers to steady defenders, these players continue to show why they're among the most impactful and consistent performers in the state. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the first pick in Part Two of the Power Seven Draft:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Standing at 6'1 with an impressive reach, Millar uses her length to her advantage at the net to score from tough angles. She is a smart, composed hitter who knows how to use her "toolbox"- whether it's tooling the block, hitting high hands, or finding the open court. With 135 kills (4.1 per set) and a consistent serve, Millar's all-around impact makes her one of the top young outsides to watch in 5A.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the second pick:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Tidey runs the offense with precision, consistently putting her hitters in the best positions to score. Her court vision and decision-making allow Legend to be balanced and unpredictable. On defense, she is alert and ready- covering tips, reading attacks, and keeping plays alive. With 387 assists (7.4 per set) and 102 digs, Tidey's consistency and awareness make her a key piece in Legend's success.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the third pick:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Cary is a threat on the right side. Her 123 kills (2.7 per set) and .312 hitting percentage highlight her efficiency and consistency on the attack. She brings more than offense, though- Cary shows great defensive awareness and dependable hands, staying calm and collected no matter situation. Whether is is blocking at the net or making a clean touch in coverage, she plays with poise and control that steadies her team. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the fourth pick:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Melecio is a defensive anchor, leading the backcourt with 208 digs (6.1 per set). Quick, composed, and relentless, she absorbs swings with control and consistency- delivering a clean ball most of the time. Her calm court presence and ability to read attackers make her a major difference maker in every rally.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the fifth pick:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Cerveny is a two-way standout for Erie, producing on offense and defense. With 132 kills (.235 efficiency) and 137 digs, she is the definition of balance. A steady, composed presence who delivers in every rotation, Cerveny's consistency is what makes her so valuable to Erie's success.</p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the sixth pick:</h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Warta brings balance and control at the net, posting 111 kills (2.5 per set) at efficiency along with 44 blocks. She transitions quickly to be ready to swing and to make a strong impact. Her presence and consistency make her a key piece in Mountain Vista's front row. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">With the seventh pick: </h2>    <p class="text-gray-700">Hinrichsen has been efficient and reliable, putting down 67 kills (2.0 per set) on a .350 hitting percentage. She reads plays quickly and times her approach well, always ready to get up fast for the quick set. With her high reach, she can hit corner to corner, giving Heritage a steady middle presence. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Power 7- Part Two</h2>   <p>This week's Power Seven features players who are steady, dynamic, and consistently deliver when it is needed most.
