Texas Class of 2022 Prospects Loaded With Elite Attackers

Texas will always have clubs who are among the best in the country, however with the Class of 2022 there are plenty of teams who are capable of playing for Gold coming the final day of national tournaments. I was able to get a glimpse of some of these athletes at Triple Crown and going back and watching more video of what they can do only confirms they truly are some of the best in the country. Here are some Class of 2022 attackers to get to know before that date of June 15 comes up where these athletes will be able to start talking with coaches about their recruiting process. More to come from the Class of 2022.

[player_tooltip player_id="87479" first="Mia" last="Moore"] - Madfrog 16 National

Long, athletic, left handed and a major powerplayer. Moore has an aggressive approach and a violent arm swing. She swings with a lot of force and puts so much pace on the ball. She’s dangerous, literally, if defenders aren’t ready she will put a hurt on. Electric player that can really get the momentum rolling on her side of the net.

[player_tooltip player_id="87491" first="Zoe" last="Hall"] - Muscle 16U

I saw Hall play at Triple Crown this past February and it really didn’t matter where she was hitting from. At 6’2 and incredibly dynamic and physical she was hammering out of the middle and would have rotations where she would blast away on the outside. She’s got the length and strength for plenty of college coaches to keep tabs on. When she hit’s it square, it sounds different. Oh, and she can attack off one foot too. Teams have to know where she is at all times on the court!

Ella Belknap - Skyline 16 Royal

6’2 out of the middle, Belknap is extremely dynamic with how she can change the game with her blocking to be able to transition to score points. She can swing and score on a three tempo and spread the defense being able to score off one foot on a slide. She knows how to find a deep corner and always be a threat for her team.

Jailen Hurley - Skyline 16 Royal

Hurley teams up with Belknap for a double block which makes them quite the duo. Hurley is strong and physical providing a strong block, but can also transition to score with a heavy cross court shot. Skyline was a final four team at Triple Crown and as soon as they get back on the court, will be looking to get back to the top of the podium

Ava Roberts - TAV 16 Black

Roberts is a right side who is dynamic enough she could score points out of the middle as well. With a high contact point, she can hit over the block or with her style she can use the high hands or tip to find the open spot to get the other side out of system.

Madison Morrow - TAV 16 Black

Morrow is a pin that has some shot-making ability. She knows when to use the outside hand of the block or to go to the sharp corner in zone four to score points. When given the chance she can move to various spots along the front row to score with a big swing on the pin or even a few feet inside.

Brevynn Johnson - Lone Star 16 Red

Big approach, big swing, ton of firepower, Johnson brings a heavy ball when attacking from the outside. She plays high, but also has a real physicality to her game. She’s fundamentally sound and can score from either pin. Was fun to watch what she could do at Triple Crown.
