The versatile Hastings is playing in a setter/RS role in a six-rotation set for Seton Catholic. The Cougars are 9-3 and in second place in the 1A Trico League, behind undefeated La Center. Hastings has soft hands and solid location when she finds her talented attackers on the pins or running quickly to the middle. As an attacker, she has consistent footwork on the right side and can hit tough angles to put pressure on the setter and the defense’s off-blocker.
