Taking a Chance On Going a LONG Way From Home For College? Hoeffner Talks Wisconsin To Alaska

The term “A Long Way From Home” is all relative.  For some that mean going to college an hour away, maybe two?  Others it’s a full day car trip and or a flight? But

for Katie Hoeffner Katie Hoeffner 5'8" | OH Appleton North | 2018 State WI , a 2018 graduate of Appleton North High School in Wisconsin, that was taking the chance by heading to the University of Alaska-Anchorage to play volleyball for a Division 2 power in a place she had never been.  I was able to catch up with Katie about her experience taking the chance on Alaska, going a 60 hour car drive and a nine hour flight from Appleton, and finding her new home being part of the Seawolves of University Alaska-Anchorage.
