The 2025 postseason kicked off this week, so we continue to look back at which players had the most impact during the fall.

This freshman class has had a lot of standouts, especially when it comes to kills. Here's a look at the kill leaders (stats from MaxPreps) in the Class of 2029.

[player_tooltip player_id='812023' first='Brynn' last='Johnson'], Marshall

Not only the class leader in digs, but Johnson has set the pace for kills in the freshman class as well with 685 kills thus far. She's hitting nearly .300 and has over half the kills on her team. Her top outing was a 30-kill outing in a five-set match with Lakeview in September.

[player_tooltip player_id='587564' first='Lexi' last='Coleman'], South Lyon East

The first captain of a Team USA U17 team, Coleman has been a dominant force all fall for SL East. She has 634 kills this season while hitting .405 in the process. She's stepped up in big matches as well, putting down a season-high 30 kills in a key conference sweep of South Lyon in October.

[player_tooltip player_id='782164' first='Isabelle' last='Brown'], Cadillac

A do-everything player for Cadillac, the setter/hitter combo player has 281 kills this fall, as she's approaching an incredible stat line of 300 kills, 400 digs, 500 assists, and 100 aces. When it comes to kills, Brown reached a high of 17 in a four-set win over Petoskey last month.

[player_tooltip player_id='774460' first='Harper' last='Dallaire'], GP North

A 6'1” middle, Dallaire is shaping up to be a major impact player for GP North. She's got 270 kills this fall while hitting .307 in the process. She's hit double-digit kills eight times, including 20 kills in a five-set win over Utica on Oct. 23.

[player_tooltip player_id='888385' first='Anna' last='Lock'], WL Northern

Lock is following in the footsteps of her sister, looking like a great piece for the Knights. As a freshman, she has 237 kills on the season. The 6'1” outside has eight matches with at least 10 kills, including 19 in a big five-set win over South Lyon a month ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='888953' first='Kennedy' last='Thomas'], East Lansing

Thomas is another do-everything player that is setting herself up for a big season with over 200 digs, 200 kills and 400 assists. She has 237 kills right now, while hitting .280. She's had six matches with double-digit kills, including 13 in a sweep of Holt just a few weeks ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='888958' first='Ellery' last='Bieneman'], Lowell

The Red Arrows have another talented freshman to work with. This middle has 230 kills and is hitting .323 on the season while up against some great opposition. Her top performance this fall was 17 kills in a four-set win over Lake Orion where she hit .560.

[player_tooltip player_id='888384' first='Allysse' last='Deshetsky'], North Branch

Stop me if you've heard this before, but a Deshetsky is making a big impact for North Branch as a freshman. The latest is Allyse, who has 213 kills this fall for the Broncos, and has been consistent in her production. She recently put down 10 kills in a two-set win over Lake Fenton this past weekend.

Aubri Vincent, White Cloud

Vincent is learning on the fly and getting better as the season moves along. She's up to 200 kills this fall for White Cloud. She had one of her best outings a few weeks ago with 13 kills in a sweep of Montabella.

[player_tooltip player_id='768151' first='Emily' last='Nwabueze'], Bloomfield Hills

Nwabueze is learning to be an impact player with the help of her standout senior sister, Kayla. Emily shows similar explosiveness and power, putting down 200 kills this fall, while hitting .378 as a freshman middle. Her season-high was 12 kills in a three-set match with Orchard Lake St. Mary's in September.
