She also forced a number of balls high and wide. Hammerquist got a number of touches on balls to slow them down for the defensive specialists. Hammerquist has a great wrist snap to put balls down and throws off teams using her off (left) hand to tip balls to open spots on the front row. Hammerquist said the extra work practices has helped her get down the timing on her blocks.
