About Alana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very competitive player and I play intentionally every point, while also having a good attitude towards my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I know there is always room for improvement in myself even if someone tells me it can’t be done. when someone tells you it can’t be done, it’s a reflection of their limits, not my own. I take my training incredibly serious to be able to reach the collegiate level.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am on the Center of Family Love Teen Board and I serve as a student leader at LifeChurch. I am also a dance major in the CSAS NE Dance Department.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership from serving my community for various things, a sense of responsibility from my role as freshman varsity libero and as a dance major, and a good idea of teamwork from the multiple sports I have been involved in since I was 3 years old.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In early 2025, I faced heart issues that limited my ability to play volleyball. After multiple tests over the course of months, I was cleared to play again. Since then, I have been incredibly grateful to be able to play the sport I love.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that has a very competitive volleyball program, aswell as an exceptional psychology program.
