About Sloane

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Hi, I am Sloane Wilson, and I am a Freshman setter/ds at Jenks High School. I have played club volleyball for 6 years, sand for 4 years, and school for 3. I believe I can play volleyball at the collegiate level, and that is what pushes me to get better every day. I bring dedication, energy, focus, and discipline into every practice and game. I am always willing to put in the extra work to improve.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My goals go beyond winning games. I want to grow as an athlete, student, and person. I am eager to learn new techniques, accept feedback, and push myself to keep improving. Beyond athletic ability, I have a positive mindset and a strong work ethic. My goal is to contribute to a culture of hard work, sportsmanship, and growth while continuing to challenge myself as both an athlete and a student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a setter and defensive specialist, I take pride in being a reliable, adaptable player who strives to grow every day. Both of these positions require communication, consistency, and keeping the team organized in high-pressure moments.

What type of college are you looking for?

A community where students feel welcomed, supported, and excited to grow both academically and personally.
