<p>We have reached Day 2 of the 2020 Volleyball Draft.</p>
<p>The <strong><a href="https://bit.ly/3eEezVs">first two rounds</a></strong> saw some great talent come off the board and Day 2 provides the eight teams with a chance to really make their squad standout from the others.</p>
<p>Let’s get to the picks.</p>
<p><strong>Round 3</strong></p>

<p><strong>1. Warriors – [player_tooltip player_id="50309" first="Sophia" last="Powell"], S Lowell/FaR Out (2021): </strong>The Warriors won’t pick again for a while, so they secure a veteran setter with a great skillset.</p>
<p><strong>2. Falcons – [player_tooltip player_id="24853" first="Evelyn" last="Doezema"], MH/OH Grand Rapids Christian/FaR Out (2022): </strong>Doezema could be the steal of the draft. A dominant player at the net that is developing into an all-around talent.</p>
<p><strong> 3. Tigers – [player_tooltip player_id="50311" first="Grace" last="Allread"], S West Bloomfield/Legacy (2021): </strong>The Tigers also lock up their setter, going with a proven talent in Allread.</p>
<p><strong> 4. Eagles – [player_tooltip player_id="50291" first="Ashley" last="Nordmann"], OH Lansing Christian/Michigan Elite (2021): </strong>The Eagles want a dominant front row and they seem to have it with Nordmann joining VanderWeide and Olin.</p>
<p><strong> 5. Bulldogs – [player_tooltip player_id="24861" first="Kimani" last="Johnson"], OH/RS Cass Tech/Michigan Elite (2022): </strong>The Bulldogs add a great finisher in Johnson to go with their flexible lineup.</p>

<p><strong>6. Wildcats – [player_tooltip player_id="50293" first="Ellie" last="Tisko"], MH/RS Mercy/Michigan Elite (2021): </strong>A talented middle that is working on her all-around game, Tisko could be a big steal in the third round.</p>
<p><strong> 7. Cougars – Becca Apsey, RS Groves/Legacy (2023): </strong>The second Class of 2023 member comes off the board and its Apsey, who has really raised her stock this club season.</p>
<p><strong> 8. Lions – Jada DiVita, OH Northville/Legacy (2022): </strong>The Lions lock up a solid outside at the end of the third. DiVita has made a big step in her game the last 12 months.</p>
<p><strong>Round 4</strong></p>

<p><strong>1. Lions – [player_tooltip player_id="50302" first="Olivia" last="Kowalkowski"], L/DS Notre Dame Prep/Michigan Elite (2021): </strong>The Lions opt for defense here and go with the battle-tested libero that brings a lot of energy to her team.</p>
<p><strong> 2. Cougars – [player_tooltip player_id="24834" first="Anna" last="Leigh Alford"], S Mt. Pleasant/FaR Out (2022): </strong>The Cougars take Alford, an experienced 2022 setter that has to be ecstatic to work with the hitters on this Cougars squad.</p>
<p><strong> 3. Wildcats – [player_tooltip player_id="24875" first="Karlee" last="Stoll"], S Anchor Bay/Legacy (2022): </strong>The Wildcats opt for Stoll to run their offense and get the most out of their experience hitters.</p>
<p><strong> 4. Bulldogs – [player_tooltip player_id="50305" first="Hannah" last="Blaney"], L/DS Saline/Legacy (2021): </strong>The Bulldogs have a lot of flexibility at the net, but are locking in Blaney to captain their defense. She will be up for the task.</p>
<p><strong> 5. Eagles – [player_tooltip player_id="66328" first="Ava" last="Sarafa"], S Marian/Michigan Elite (2023): </strong>The Eagles decided to go with the young setter to work with their experienced hitters. Sarafa shows a lot of promise at setter as an experienced freshman.</p>

<p><strong>6. Tigers – [player_tooltip player_id="50296" first="Claire" last="Nowicki"], OH Clarkston/Legacy (2021): </strong>The Tigers add another solid six-rotation option in Nowicki, who has the ability to finish at a high rate, but can also pass and serve with the best of them.</p>
<p><strong> 7. Falcons – [player_tooltip player_id="50298" first="Ainsley" last="Guse"], MH Stoney Creek/Unified (2021): </strong>A towering middle that moves like someone much smaller, Guse is going to be another great weapon for Bishop to utilize.</p>
<p><strong> 8. Warriors – [player_tooltip player_id="24881" first="Sydney" last="Tomlak"], OH Stoney Creek/Legacy (2022): </strong>Back-to-back Stoney Creek products come off the board. Tomlak is a gamer that has proven she can go swing-for-swing with anyone.</p>
<p><strong>Round 5</strong></p>

<p><strong>1. Warriors – [player_tooltip player_id="24842" first="Josie" last="Bloom"], L/DS Notre Dame Prep/Legacy (2022): </strong>The Warriors lock in a need here with Bloom, one of the top defensive players in the state.</p>
<p><strong> 2. Falcons – [player_tooltip player_id="14165" first="Abby" last="Boyle"], L/DS Byron Center/FaR Out (2021): </strong>Sensing a run on defensive talent, the Falcons go with Boyle, a proven talent in the back row.</p>
<p><strong> 3. Tigers – [player_tooltip player_id="14194" first="Lara" last="Sebastian"], L/DS Rochester Adams/Legacy (2021): </strong>With the Tigers set at the key positions, they go with Sebastian to secure their defense.</p>
<p><strong> 4. Eagles – Gracie Danzinger, L/DS East Lansing/Michigan Elite (2021): </strong>The run on defense continues. Danzinger is another valuable defensive option and veteran leader in the back row.</p>
<p><strong> 5. Bulldogs – [player_tooltip player_id="50303" first="Reagan" last="Goeke"], MH Lake Orion/Legacy (2021): </strong>Goeke could be the top blocker in the state and now finds herself as another weapon on a talented Bulldogs front row.</p>

<p><strong>6. Wildcats – [player_tooltip player_id="66309" first="Nina" last="Horning"], OH Lake Orion/Legacy (2023): </strong>The Wildcats have been Class of 2021-heavy, so they opt for the young Horning, who has proven she’s up for a challenge as just a freshman.</p>
<p><strong> 7. Cougars – [player_tooltip player_id="24877" first="Sarah" last="Sylvester"], MH Marian/Michigan Elite (2022): </strong>Libero is a need for the Cougars, but they play the board and trust the Lions won’t take a second DS already, so they opt for the hitter they like in Sylvester. The long middle gives this squad a great combo of blocking and finishing.</p>
<p><strong> 8. Lions – [player_tooltip player_id="50297" first="AJ" last="Ediger"], MH Hamilton (2021): </strong>Ediger is a stud basketball star, but she is also a dominant middle in volleyball. Her skillset in basketball translates perfectly for the Lions.</p>
