Skye is currently an unranked prospect in the 2027 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but is on our official Watch List. She plays for Midlothian High School and also for the 360 volleyball club. Skye had such a fantastic showing at our showcase on Sunday. She was very active all along the net and was able to wreak havoc on every team that she went up against. I loved how aggressive she was in making sure that she gave solid effort in order to battle with each set location. Her lateral footwork was very fast and efficient. I did not see a lot of negative footwork as she made her cuts during defensive transition. This will really help her to stay on time for transition offense in quick situations. Miss Watts also was able to showcase a solid vertical jump with both her blocking and during her attack. She rose up well and uses her long reach to keep the ball out of the hands of potential blockers. I am very happy to have seen her in person at our showcase and look forward to following her volleyball journey moving forward. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.

Miss Dougherty is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings, but that is only because we have not released them yet. She plays for Rock Hill High School and also plays for the Excel volleyball club. We saw Ava this past summer at our Freshman showcase and loved every bit of what she showed us. I was super excited to see her in action again as we were able to see how she fared against some older competition. Let's just say that she held her own and then some. Blessed with such a beautiful touch on the ball with her soft hands, she was able to show just how consistent she could be with every set location. I loved how the ball came out very fast and also how she was able to set against the flow of the pass to keep the defense guessing. This young lady is going to be a very valuable asset to any team she plays on with what she can do with the ball in her hands. I am sure that when we release the rankings, she will be listed. We just have to watch her closely this club season to see where she will be placed. In the meantime, please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award at this showcase.

Miss LaQuey is currently an unranked prospect in the 2029 Class according to our Prep Dig Texas State Rankings. She plays for Coram Deo Academy and also plays for the Excel volleyball club. Avery had pinpoint accurate serves that were super low to the tape and this made it very difficult for anyone to pass them. What I love about her is that she is not afraid to play front row if need be and double as a right side. As a setter, she was pretty accurate with each location and also played amazing defense out of the right back zone. She knows how to freeze her platform and angle the ball perfectly so that her left back player can assist on the second ball. She is a hard worker on the court and looked good during our effort based defensive drills. Her court coach also commented on her performance for the entire scrimmage session. We loved what we saw from her in the summer at our freshman showcase and she has gotten better since then. This tells us that she is one person we should be watching closely as the club season gets underway. Stay tuned for more as we follow her journey. Please help us congratulate her on earning a Top Performer award for this showcase.
