<p>The 2025 NCAA Tournament field has been announced and the state of Michigan will have plenty of representation in this year's championships. Many past Michigan prep greats will be participating, with a lot of them having previously displayed their skills as at a past Prep Dig Showcase event.</p>

<p>The Panthers won the Missouri Valley Conference title this fall to reach the NCAA Tournament. UNI is a No. 6 seed in the bracket, and will face No. 11 Utah in the first round on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Included on the UNI roster is sophomore DS <strong>Taryn Rice </strong>out of Northville. Rice had 96 digs this fall with 17 aces and seven assists.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>TCU</strong></h2>

<p>The Horned Frogs are coming out of the Big 12 Conference and they earned a No. 6 seed in their bracket. TCU will face Stephen F. Austin on Friday at 5 p.m. ET to open up NCAA Tournament play. Part of the TCU roster is senior middle <strong>Sarah Sylvester</strong> out of Marian. Sylvester had 42 kills with 45 blocks this fall. Sylvester still holds the TCU record for most blocks in a three-set match with 13.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Texas A&M</strong></h2>

<p>The Aggies received an at-large bid out of the SEC and are seeded third. They will face Campbell in a first-round match on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Part of the A&M roster is senior outside hitter <strong>Taylor Humphrey </strong>out of Byron Center. Humphrey amassed 22 digs with 18 kills, and two aces this fall.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Toledo</strong></h2>

<p>The Rockets won the MAC Championship for the first time to earn this NCAA Tournament bid. Toledo is a No. 13 seed and will face No. 4 Indiana on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Toledo has a pair of Michigan natives in freshman outside hitter <strong>Jessica Costlow</strong> from SMCC, and sophomore middle <strong>Kayla Ozanich</strong> out of Okemos. Costlow had a great freshman season with 280 kills, 304 digs, 40 aces, and 33 blocks. Costlow was named to the MAC All-Freshman Team for her play this fall. Ozanich had 128 kills and 55 blocks this fall for the Rockets.</p>

<p>The Retrievers won the America East title to get a spot in the NCAA Tournament. UMBC is a No. 16 seed in the tournament will face top-seeded Pittsburgh on Friday at 6:30 p.m. UMBC features junior DS <strong>Ella McAllister </strong>out of Marshall. This fall, McAllister recorded 63 digs with seven assists and an ace.</p>

<p>The Utes got an at-large bid out of the Big 12 Conference. Utah will be a No. 11 seed and face No. 6 Northern Iowa in the first round on Thursday at 5:30 p.m. Part of this roster is freshman DS <strong>McKenna Payne </strong>out of SMCC. Payne appeared in 22 matches this season and had 146 digs with 60 assists and 11 aces.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Western Kentucky</strong></h2>

<p>The Hilltoppers won the Conference USA Championship to earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament. Western Kentucky is a No. 7 seed and will face Marquette on Friday at 4 p.m. ET in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. Part of the Western Kentucky roster is senior setter <strong>Callie Bauer </strong>out of Hudson. This fall, Bauer tallied, 1074 assists, 221 digs, 85 kills, 30 blocks, and 25 aces. For her play, Bauer was named Player of the Year in Conference USA this season and also was First-Team All-Conference.</p>

<p>The Horizon League champions have a heavy Michigan influence as they head into the NCAA Tournament as a No. 14 seed and will face No. 3 Purdue on Thursday at 7 p.m. Wright State features three former Michigan standouts in junior middle <strong>Reilly Zegunis </strong>from Zeeland East, freshman DS <strong>Taygan Corstange</strong> from Gull Lake, and sophomore DS <strong>Greta McKee </strong>from Northville. Zegunis was a First Team All-Horizon League selection this fall with 265 kills, 100 blocks, 83 digs, and 19 aces. Corstange had a big fall season with 428 digs to go along with 24 aces and 70 assists. McKee racked up 210 digs and 23 aces for the Raiders this season.</p>

<p>The Musketeers are an at-large bid out of the Big East Conference. Xavier received a No. 8 seed and will face No. 9 Michigan in the first round on Friday at 4 p.m. Included on the roster is redshirt freshman outside hitter <strong>Catherine Flaharty </strong>out of Saline. She appeared in eight matches this fall and had 14 kills with three blocks and two digs.</p>
