About Suri

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would say I’m pretty scrappy and go up with a lot of intention while playing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I do my best to continue staying in a positive mindset and want to rub that off on everyone. My personality when playing volleyball I would say is a lot of energy, I want to hype up all my teammates after good/bad plays.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in HOSA and my schools A+ program and I’ve been recognized for my good grades.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership skills when becoming team captain late in the season in school ball and learning how to continue hyping people up even when losing.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I injured my knees after a UCM volleyball camp with my school and had to learn how to adjust and grow from the setback. It helped me develop mentally and also focus on doing the small things like working out at home more often, icing my knees and start going to PT.

What type of college are you looking for?

Someone who will support me academically and mentally.
