About Emmalynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am highly coachable, strong at the net, and technically solid across all areas of my game. I swing with purpose, read the court well, and thrive under pressure. My technical foundation is strong, and I show up every time my team needs me.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As an outside hitter, I’m known for my calm leadership, steady presence, and solid decision making under pressure. I contribute on both offense and defense. I’m focused, determined, team centered, and always push myself to raise the standard.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a club volleyball player for Top Flight with four years of commitment and experience in high-level competition. I have also received awards for academic excellence.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer at my church in the kids’ room, using leadership, teamwork, and patience to engage and support children in a safe, positive environment.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Successfully overcame anxiety, demonstrating resilience, determination, and perseverance in both personal and team settings. Recently I transitioned from a 504 Plan to independently advocating for my own needs, demonstrating self-advocacy and responsibility.

What type of college are you looking for?

I aspire to enroll at a academically rigorous four-year university where I can pursue both my studies and my passion for volleyball.
