Attention Class of 2030 Parents: Get Your Athlete On our Radar

As a new club season is underway, we've decided it's time to start showing some recognition to the next class we haven't highlighted yet as they approach their final season before their high school careers start.

The 14s year is one of the most pivotal stages in a volleyball player's development, laying the foundation for long-term success both on and off the court. This is often the age when athletes experience significant physical growth, begin refining core technical skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the game. Players start to transition from simply executing skills to learning how to compete—reading the court, making smart decisions, and understanding team systems. It's also a crucial year for building confidence, work ethic, and coachability, as habits formed at this stage tend to carry into high school and beyond. For many athletes, the 14s season is where potential becomes direction, setting the tone for future development, leadership, and opportunities at the next level.

Here are 5 things your athlete can do to get on our radar!

Creating a player profile on Prep Dig is one of the easiest and most effective ways to get on our radar. This gives us a centralized place to learn who you your athlete is—their position, class, club, high school (once it's time), measurables, and academic info—all in one spot. A complete and updated profile helps us track their growth year over year and allows college coaches to discover them down the line. Think of it as their digital resume for volleyball—encourage them to start building it early. In some cases, we've built profiles for some players already that caught our attention. We're constantly evaluating athletes through social media, and Instagram is one of our biggest touchpoints. If they haven't made a volleyball specific Instagram, we highly encourage you to do that asap! Regardless of if you are in control of their profile, or they run their own account, send us highlights via DM or tag us in your clips so we can see them in game action. We're not just looking for big swings—we want to see ball control, effort, court awareness, communication, and how they compete. Short, clear clips that show consistency and growth, and of course the epic celebrations and personality!

Anthony as well as myself are coaches! We will be at many local tournaments as well as NQ's around the country. We absolutely love getting to play against you all, but also getting to know you in person! Whether it's at a tournament, showcase, or during high school season, have your athlete come introduce themselves! We love seeing athletes who are confident, respectful, and engaged.

A quick introduction helps put a name to a face on Instagram highlight and shows maturity beyond the game. Remember, how they carry themselves off the court matters just as much as how you perform on it!

Our Spotlight Form allows athletes and families to share important updates directly with us—big performances, milestones, team success, or growth you're proud of. This helps us identify players for features, articles, and social media spotlights throughout the season. If your athlete is putting in the work, make sure we know about it.
