Underwood Volleyball 2020: Player Evals!

<p><strong> Underwood (30-6-0), has a mixed bag this year with 4 seniors graduating, 6 juniors that are really good, 1 sophomore, and 1 freshman returning for the 2020 season. </strong></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Graduating Seniors:</strong></span></p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="78427" first="Lauren" last="Brown"]</strong></p> <p>Lauren was a MB for Underwood last fall and played 93 of 99 sets with stats of 1.57 KPS, .750 serve efficiency (18 of 24) with 2 aces, and 79 total blocks.  She will be playing college volleyball in the fall at Central College.</p> <p><strong>Ashlyn Torneton</strong></p> <p>Ashlyn played in 93 of 99 sets for the Eagles last fall.  She had .62 KPS, .810 serve efficiency with 1 ace, and 23 total blocks.</p> <p><strong>Erica Rowe</strong></p> <p>Erica played in all 99 sets for Underwood last fall.  She contributed .886 serve efficiency with 4 aces, and 1.68 DPS.  </p> <p><strong>Erin McMains</strong></p> <p>Erin played in 93 of 99 sets for the Eagles in her senior volleyball season.  She had.884 serve efficiency with 12 aces and 1.90 DPS.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Returning Players:</strong></span></p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>2021 Returning Athletes</strong></span></p> <p>The offense for the Eagles should be rock stars again with these girl returning, but it takes more than just good hitters to make a great team.  Good thing these juniors listed below are volleyball specialists and I am sure they are up to the task of replacing the loss of the seniors above.</p> [caption id="attachment_74375" align="alignleft" width="150"] [player_tooltip player_id="79017" first="Macy" last="Vanfossan"], class of 2021.[/caption] <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="79017" first="Macy" last="Vanfossan"]</strong></p> <p>Macy is a top hitter for Underwood and will be returning for her senior season with the Eagles in the fall.  She had 4.02 KPS, .900 serve efficiency with 33 aces, 3.40 DPS, and 41 total blocks.  </p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="79018" first="Zoe" last="Rus"]</strong></p> <p>Zoe played in all 99 sets for the Eagles last season.  She had 3.02 KPS, .921 serve efficiency with 58 aces, 1.12 DPS, and 26 total blocks.  I think we can check off the hitters for next year with these first two returning juniors listed here. </p> <p><strong>Brianna Justsen</strong></p> <p>Brianna played in all 99 sets last fall as well.  She had 1.16 KPS and 64 total blocks.</p> <p><strong>Peyton Cook</strong></p> <p>Peyton is one of the best setters around the southwest corner of the state of Iowa.  She played in all 99 sets for the Eagles last fall and had .877 serve efficiency with 39 aces, 8.99 APS, 2.03 DPS, and 29 total blocks.</p> <p><strong>Haylee Seidler</strong></p> <p>Haylee only played in 9 sets last season but will get more time in the season to come.  She had 1.22 KPS, .22 DPS, and 2 blocks.</p> <p><strong>Allie Robertson</strong></p> <p>Allie played in 92 of 99 sets for the Eagles last season and had .927 serve efficiency with 11 aces and .61 DPS.</p> <p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline">2022 Returning Athletes</span></strong></p> <p><strong>Leslie Morales-Foote</strong></p> <p>Leslie played in all 99 sets for the Eagles last fall.  She had .976 serve efficiency with 25 aces and 3.37 DPS.  Look for more from this returning sophomore in the coming season.</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>2023 Returning Athletes</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Delaney Ambrose</strong></p> <p>Delaney got to play in 11 sets her freshman year and had 7 aces, .27 DPS, and 2 blocks.  She will definitely be more of a contributing force in the coming season.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
