For the Class of 2022, the rules took a drastic change during their Freshman year on May 1, 2019 when communication with college coaches was cut off, and would resume on June 15 after their Sophomore year. As of right now with the current conditions, coaches have been unable to host campus visits, cannot go off campus to recruit, and still cannot communicate with athletes regarding their recruiting process until June 15 after their Sophomore year. These athletes committed prior to the rule change and will be looking forward to reconnecting with the college coaches who recruited them (committed athletes still could not communicate with college coaches under the rule changes).
Macy Daufeldt Macy Daufeldt 5'10" | OH West Liberty | 2022 State #74 Nation IA – Iowa Rockets – West Liberty HS (IA)
DaufeldtCommitted to Drake
Daufeldt might be one of the best all around athletes in the Class of 2022 where she is an All State outside hitter, an District in basketball, and last year won the state long jump championship. She is cool, calm, and collected and has such positive body language on the court. Watching her attack from anywhere on the court is so fun because she can score from anywhere. I sometimes use this too much, but Daufeldt is definitely lightning in a bottle.
Alexis Moses Alexis Moses 6'3" | MB Cedar Rapids Prairie | 2022 State IA – Iowa Rockets – Cedar Rapids Prairie (IA)
Committed to South Dakota
Moses is physical and dynamic out of the middle where she can score off one foot and also get from pin to pin to close the block. She works so well with Rockets 16R setter Kora Ruff Kora Ruff 5'9" | S Pleasant Valley | 2022 State #86 Nation IA who will also be a 2022 prospect high on the radar this summer. Moses will head to South Dakota where they had a regular season for the record books. They will be going back and forth with Summit League rival Dever for years to come as the overall RPI of the Summit League continues to rise.
Lauren Carter Lauren Carter 5'11" | S Winterset | 2022 State #43 Nation IA – Club Ignit Select – Winterset HS (IA)
Carter (White Jersey)Committed to Denver
An extremely high IQ setter where she is always thinking – from matchups on her side, openings on the other side, and just thinking steps ahead like a world class chess player. She will head to Denver where will join one of the top mid major programs in the country where they have consistently been in the NCAA tournament. The Pioneers have built quite a pipeline of top players from Iowa and Carter will definitely fit right in.
Morgan Brandt Morgan Brandt 6'0" | S Sumner-Fred | 2022 State IA – Six Pack – Sumner-Fredericksburg (IA)
Committed to Iowa State
Make room for another Brandt at Iowa State. Morgan’s older sister Jenna is currently a setter for the Cyclones entering her Junior year. Morgan will bring a physical style to the net where she is strong and extremely athletic. She’s been a key piece for the 16U Six Pack squad out of Cedar Falls that is always one of the top programs out of Iowa. Iowa State and their coaching staff always does a great job of finding the all around athletes from in-state to continue to compete in the Big 12.
Julia Hanson Julia Hanson 6'0" | OH Prior Lake | 2022 State #57 Nation MN – Northern Lights – Prior Lake HS (MN)
Julia Hansen swings from the outside at Northern Lights Qualifier.Committed to Minnesota
Seing Julia Hanson Julia Hanson 6'0" | OH Prior Lake | 2022 State #57 Nation MN jump as just a Freshman at the SW Minnesota Challenge with her Prior Lake High School squad. She can flat out fly. Fast forward to her Sophomore year and she is still jumping out of the gym and is just adding an element of physicality and strength to her game. The Minneosta recruiting Class of 2022 is already one to really keep tabs on that also includes Mckenna Wucherer Mckenna Wucherer 6'1" | OH Brookfield Central | 2022 State #1 Nation WI from Milwaukee Sting and 6’7 Carter Booth of Colorado Juniors.
Ellie Baumert Ellie Baumert 6'1" | S Malcolm | 2022 State #159 Nation NE – VCN – Malcolm (NE)
Committed to Texas Tech
At 6’2, Baumert is long and athletic, her wing span is dangerous with her length at the net to put the ball in place for her attackers, but she is also one that stresses the other side of the net with her ability to attack on the second contact. Nebraska has an extremely deep Class of 2022 where there will be plenty of athletes looking to play at a high level.
AllickBekka Allick Bekka Allick 6'3" | MB Waverly | 2022 State #7 Nation NE – VCN – Lincoln-North Star (NE)
Committed to Nebraska
Allick has been playing tow levels up on the VCN 18s team that past two seasons. A middle blocker or someone who could be a force on the right side, Allick has been a commit to the Huskers since early in her high school career. VCN has continued to produced top tier athletes that are traveling to big programs across the country. Allick brings a physicality to her game where she is such a force on the net, especially with her block.
Wucherer
Mckenna Wucherer Mckenna Wucherer 6'1" | OH Brookfield Central | 2022 State #1 Nation WI – Milwaukee Sting – Brookfield Central (WI)
Committed to Minnesota
Wucherer has been on the radar since she was 12 and 13 years old. She has always played up on the top Milwaukee Sting teams and committed to the Gophers as an 8th grader. At 6’2, incredibly athletic, skilled, and just a terminator, Wucherer is going to be a fan favorite. Her overall skill and accustomed to high level competition is what sets her apart. A loaded resume of All American and MVP honors, Wucherer played two ages up on the Sting 18 Gold squad where she was scoring points against some of the best in the country.

Kaminski can do it all. One of the top all around players coming out of the Class in 2022. She has played on the Badger Region High Performance team as a setter, was most recently named to the All State squad as an outside hitter, and will head to Dayton as a libero. A true student of the game and a relentless worker, Kaminski was able to play on the USA HP squad last summer and will continue to be one to always has an impact on the game.
