This 2027 class in Michigan is stacked from top to bottom. Some may say that this is one of the most well rounded classes to come out of Michigan in recent years. From the Metro to the West side and to everything else around, there is top notch talent coming out of every pocket Michigan has to offer.

This past club and high school season proved to be a big one for a lot of players. Some that have maybe fallen under the radar or others who have simply bursted onto the scene. You never know when it all clicks, but when it does, things are electric!

That can very much be said for these few new addition to the 2027 class rankings. Take a look at some of the best newbies to this ranking cycle.

[player_tooltip player_id='897539' first='Haley' last='Armock'] - Rockford/MVA

Seemingly coming out of nowhere, [player_tooltip player_id='897539' first='Haley' last='Armock'] spent NO time bursting onto the scene. When you are a part of a squad as deep and as talented as this one, it is nothing out of the ordinary to fall under the radar. But not only did Armock make her presence known, but you felt it! In the middle, she was one of the most promising prospects hitting an electric .350 clip on the season. She is poised for an even bigger breakout season with MVA's 171 in the club circuit as an opposite attacker.

[player_tooltip player_id='845232' first='Avery' last='Bailey'] - Midland Dow/Mid-Mich Aces

Speaking of players coming out of nowhere, [player_tooltip player_id='845232' first='Avery' last='Bailey'] really ran under the radar. With an even bigger breakout season, Bailey become a good player to a game changer this past fall. Bailey's breakout performance on the right side led her to a third team All-State accolade after logging over 300 kills on the season to a tune of .355. Bailey is heading into the latter part of her junior year with a lot of momentum. She will join a cast of emerging talents from northern michigan on the Mid-Mich Aces 17 National squad. Look for her to be a terminal, go-to threat.

Elli VanDusen - Kalamazoo Christian

Elli VanDusen has been waiting in the wings for her turn to shine. And when it mattered most, she maybe shined the brightest than anyone else in Division 3 volleyball. Kalamazoo Christian has been good for so long now with some incredible rosters over the last few years. This was supposed to be the year of rebuild, but not with the emergence of VanDusen. Set her just about anywhere on the court and she delivers a blistering kill. Off of one foot, VanDusen is a monstrous presence. She, too, had well over 350 kills this fall.

[player_tooltip player_id='827359' first='Megan' last='Glass'] - Hudsonville/Impact

Hudsonville always finds a way to make themselves a dangerous, dark horse team year in and year out. This fall was no different. They had the tough ball control, the gritty defense, and steady pins. But what really put them over the edge and what allowed a potential star to be born was [player_tooltip player_id='827359' first='Megan' last='Glass'] in the middle. Her towering presence was felt from the block to her offense. She didn't need the big bombing swings, but she had plenty of those. What separated her was her vision for the court and placement of the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='816366' first='Madeline' last='Kozuch'] - Morley-Stanwood/Inside Out

Finding yourself atop the all-state lists regardless of division is definitely a way to get on anyone's radar. [player_tooltip player_id='816366' first='Madeline' last='Kozuch'] did exactly that. Becoming Morley-Stanwood's go-to arm in about every facet of the game could be quite a lot to take on as a player. But for Kozuch, she not only elevated her game, but thrived in the role. She found herself making moves both offensively and defensively that we have yet to see from her. Kozuch put down over 300 kills and digs this fall alone.

[player_tooltip player_id='831699' first='Ella' last='Wilcox'] - Parma Western/Team Pineapple

If Parma Western didn't put you on high alert this season, well allow this to be your warning! [player_tooltip player_id='831699' first='Ella' last='Wilcox'] had a breakout season and is back for another next fall. Wilcox found herself as the outlet for this emerging Division 2 powerhouse. The 6'1 Outside hitter had just about every trick up her sleeve. Whether its your ordinary go ball on the left, hitting the two ball combination or storming out of the back row, Wilcox had every shot you could want in this position. She finished the season just shy of a 400 kill campaign after leading Parma to a Regional Final.

[player_tooltip player_id='804480' first='Alyssa' last='Moir'] - Bloomfield Hills

This was a season for the record books for Bloomfield Hills. While a lot of that spotlight went to its attackers, deservedly so. There was one player that really stood out, [player_tooltip player_id='804480' first='Alyssa' last='Moir'] at the libero position. If it weren't for Moir's steadfast reception and scrappy defense, I am not sure the Blackhawks make the type of history they did this fall. Moir finished her championship run around the 400 dig mark and passed a 2.00 (On a 3 point scale) against some staunch competition.
