<p>From Detroit to Ann Arbor to Macomb County, Southeast Michigan covers a lot of space and there's a lot of great underclassmen to keep an eye on from that part of Michigan.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Giabella DeAngelo, So. DS/L Gibraltar Carlson</strong></h2>

<p>DeAngelo wasn't able to get as many sets as most of her peers, but she made the most of when she was on the floor. She had 248 digs on the season, averaging nearly four per set. DeAngelo showed good traits in serve receive and should keep getting more reliable as she gets more reps.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='916065' first='Hattie' last='Fansler'], Fr. OH Lenawee Christian/Charged Up</strong></h2>

<p>Lenawee Christian was able to count on Fansler, a 5'11” outside to come through in a lot of big moments. She had 417 kills, 244 digs, 67 aces, and 54 blocks. Fansler athleticism and agility made her a threat at any moment in a point. She was named All-State in D4 and <a href="https://prepdig.com/2025/12/2025-michigan-hs-d4-all-prep-dig-teams/">All-Prep Dig in D4</a>.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Daneris Gomez, So. MH Inter-City Baptist</strong></h2>

<p>Gomez brought good length to the Inter-City Baptist lineup at 6'1”. She had 224 kills while hitting an eye-opening .387 during the season. Her ability to put the ball away was very impressive and she's going to be a handful for opponents next year. Gomez also had 67 blocks to help earn All-State honors in D4 and All-Prep Dig honors in D4.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='885461' first='Riley' last='Harrah'], Fr. OH Tecumseh/Legacy</strong></h2>

<p>Tecumseh was among the top teams in D2 this fall and Harrah was a breakout star as a freshman. She put down 326 kills while hitting over .270, an impressive start to a prep career. Harrah also showed a lot of promise on defense with 264 digs and 53 aces. She earned All-State honors for D2, as well as All-Prep Dig honors.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='798982' first='Sophia' last='Jackson'], So. DS/L Richmond</strong></h2>

<p>Jackson was an absolute machine this fall for Richmond. Playing against plenty of top talent, Jackson came through with 645 digs to be among the top dig-leaders in the state. She also compiled 42 aces. There's a lot to be excited about from this sophomore defender.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='887818' first='Madison' last='Jewell'], So. S Grosse Pointe North/Monsters</strong></h2>

<p>Another talented young player for GP North, Jewell had a solid all-around year. She recorded 728 assists, 291 digs, 58 aces, and 42 blocks. Jewell was never hesitant to go after a play and showed good leadership skills. Expect her to keep sharpening all areas of her game.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='765793' first='Maya' last='Lorenzo'], So. DS/L Dakota/Michigan Elite</strong></h2>

<p>Playing against a lot of strong competition in Division 1, Lorenzo really looked good in the back row, coming through with 481 digs and 39 aces. Lorenzo has consistent form, especially in her serve receive. She's taken on a lot of elite hitters and come through with impressive digs.</p>
