About Avery

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I see the court well taking smart shots. I can smash the ball but tend to take shots to open spots for easy points. Scrappy defense when playing back row. Strong block getting lots of touches slowing the ball.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a growth mindset and like to see the better in things. I have small goals to meet big goals. I tend to be loud on the bench cheering teammates on.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Velocity softball club. Honor roll 5 times the 5 times it was offered of maintaining a 3.4 gpa or above. Competed in Noetic Math competition 8 times and 7 out of 8 times scored 50% higher than other kids my age around the country. Art awards and art chosen for display. Academic and achievement awards. Writing competitions 1 st place

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership and teamwork as well as passion and determination during my sports career. Kindness and politeness I have shown my whole life.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have not had any significant challenges that have impacted me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I don't mind location. I'm looking for nice coaches that see my potential. Not a rude team or team known for being disrespectful and having bad sportsmanship.
