About Lauren

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

During gameplay, I stay completely focused on the match and all of the variables within it, while keeping an energetic demeanor towards my teammates, and an analytical one towards my opponents. Physically, I stay bouncy on my toes at all times, ready to move while being vocal the entire time.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the court reflects my personality through my inability to give up and my competitive nature. I believe that there is no point in being an athlete without giving it your all (regardless of the task at hand), so I make that a priority of mine.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not involved in any clubs, as I work a part-time job, but I have received several A-honor rolls and attendance awards over my 11 years as a student.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my various life experiences, I have developed deep leadership and teamwork skills, with a personal understanding of the significance of community service. Additional skills I retain are strong time management, attention to detail, and perception.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a reasonably affordable college with a strong volleyball program and psychology program. I would love to go to school somewhere surrounded by those who truly care about academics, and take pride in their sports, as that creates an overall positive community.
