One reason for that is not every organization has its own website. Some just have Facebook pages. Even some of the groups that do have their own site only have so many capabilities because of a multitude of different reasons that range from expertise to cost and beyond.
There’s also the added factor of effort. Good things generally don’t come to those who wait. Those who act, on the other hand, improve their own chances for success exponentially. Perhaps that shouldn’t be part of this equation, but it is. The same could be said for the fact that everyone wants to be recognized on some level for their hard work and dedication to a cause. It’s a universal truth that’s specific to the human condition.
At the MOJO Volleyball Club in Milford not only do they understand this cause-and-effect, they embrace it. That’s why, when it comes to the Setters, Opposites and Defensive Specialists playing for MOJO 15 Navy we’re proud to present…
BROOKLYN WOLCOTT
A member of the class of 2023 at Milford High School, Wolcott plays Opposite and Middle Hitter and wears jersey number eight.
“(Brooklyn is a) powerful blocker (who is) athletic (and has) versatility,” said MOJO Volleyball Club Director and Coach Shannon Loso.
LAUREN WILES
Wearing jersey number 20 for MOJO VBC 15 Navy, Wiles plays Setter and Opposite. She is also a member of the class of 2023 at Walled Lake Northern.
“(Lauren is a) quick, confident setter (and a) consistent server,” Loso said.
BRYN JOHNSON
In her role as a Defensive Specialist for MOJO VBC 15 Navy, Johnson wars jersey number 12 and is a member of the class of 2023 at Milford High School.
“(Bryn is a) strong defender, (as well as a) most consistent server (who focuses on) ball coverage,” said Loso.
JESSICA PURVIS
This Lakeland High School member of the class of 2023 plays Opposite and Defensive Specialist and wears jersey number 10 for MOJO VBC 15 Navy.
“(Jessica is a) solid utility player (who is) focused (and) reads the opponent well,” Loso said.

Playing Setter and Opposite, Purvis wears jersey number 11 for MOJO VBC 15 Navy. She is a member of the class of 2023 at Milford HS, as well.
“(Sarah has) soft hands,” said Loso. “(She is also a) student of the game (and a) leader.”
EMERSON MCBRIDE
While at Milford HS she might be known as a member of the class of 2023, but with MOJO VBC 15 Navy this Defensive Specialist is also recognized by the number 13 she wears on her jersey.
“(Emerson has) court awareness, determination (and is a) good teammate,” Loso said.
MELANA MOORE
The only player on this roster specifically listed by position as a Libero, Moore is a member of the class of 2023 at Lakeland HS and wears jersey number 16.
“(Melana has a) great defensive presence, strong serve (and) reads the court well,” said Loso.
