<p>The <strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Western</span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"> Valle</span></strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>y Conference</strong> consists of <strong>Kingsley</strong>-<strong>Pierson</strong> <strong>Panthers</strong>, <strong>Lawton-Bronson</strong> <strong>Eagles</strong>, <strong>MVAOCOU</strong> <strong>Rams</strong>, <strong>OABCIG</strong> <strong>Falcons</strong>, <strong>River Valley Wolverines, </strong><strong>Ridge View</strong> <strong>Raptors</strong>, <strong>Siouxland</strong> <strong>Christian</strong> <strong>Eagles</strong>, <strong>West</strong> <strong>Monona</strong> <strong>Spartans</strong>, <strong>Westwood</strong> <strong>Rebels</strong>, and <strong>Woodbury</strong> <strong>Central</strong> <strong>Wildcats</strong></span><span style="font-size: 1rem;">. Let’s look at who graduated and who will be back in the 2020 season!</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Kingsley-Pierson Panthers</strong></span></p>
<p>The Panthers lose one senior this year in <strong>Kara Schmid</strong>. Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Emerson Benson (S, 2021) </strong>with 2.2 APS and 97.2 % serve efficiency, <strong>Hayden Dunn (S, 2021) </strong>2.8 APS, 1.6 DPS, and 96.1% serve efficiency, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="79288" first="McKenzie" last="Goodwin"] (MH/OH, 2022) </strong>with 2.2 KPS, 62 blocks, 2.1 DPS, and 52 aces, <strong>Chloe Peschau (MH, 2022) </strong>1.6 KPS and 60 blocks, and <strong>Abbi Bailey (L/DS, 2021) </strong>with 3.8 DPS.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>Lawton-Bronson Eagles</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 1rem;">The Eagles lose four seniors this year including <strong>Haley</strong> <strong>Williams</strong>, <strong>Haylie</strong> <strong>Newman</strong>, <strong>Rylee</strong> <strong>Wagner</strong>, and <strong>Elizabeth</strong> <strong>Gardner. </strong>Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Kendra Horsley (OH/S, 2021) </strong>5.9 APS, 1.5 DPS, 31 blocks, 33 aces, and 92.8% serve efficiency, <strong>Brooklyn Roder (MH/OH, 2023) </strong>59 blocks and 95.6% serve efficiency, <strong>Kaitlyn Hennings (OH/MH, 2021) </strong>2.0 KPS, 37 blocks, 2.0 DPS, 29 aces and 93.3% serve efficiency, and <strong>Jori Feauto (DS, 2021) </strong>returning with the best serve efficiency of 96.4%.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>MVAOCOU Rams</strong></span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 1rem;">The Rams lose four seniors this year including <strong>Sydney</strong> <strong>Fundermann</strong>, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>Avery</strong> <strong>Ehlers</strong>, </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>Abbi</strong> <strong>Boysen</strong>, and </span><span style="font-size: 1rem;"><strong>Ellen</strong> <strong>Mallory. </strong>Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Anna Heck (S, 2022) </strong>looks to be the new setter this year and has 84.6% serve efficiency, <strong>Emily Kovarna (OH, 2023) </strong>looks to be the new hitter this year so we will need to watch to see how she does, she did have 17 blocks last year, <strong>Cheslee Yockey (OH, 2022) </strong>had 1.90 DPS last year, and <strong>Ashlynn Blake (OH, 2022) </strong>had the most service aces with 22 last year. Basically, it looks as if this team is rebuilding and we will check them out in the new season to see how they do.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>OABCIG Falcons</strong></span></p>
<p>The Falcons lose eight seniors this year including <strong>Abby</strong> <strong>Bender</strong>, <strong>Corin</strong> <strong>Bower</strong>, <strong>Kylee</strong> <strong>Weber</strong>, <strong>Liz</strong> <strong>Zobel</strong>, <strong>Sarah</strong> <strong>Petersen</strong>, <strong>Ryder</strong> <strong>Cranston</strong>, <strong>Kaitlyn</strong> <strong>Riessen</strong>, and <strong>Halle</strong> <strong>Hemer. </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are unknown. The entire senior class played every set last year so this is a true rebuilding year for this conference winner from the prior year. We will have to check in later to see how they do.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong style="font-size: 1rem;">River Valley Wolverines</strong></span></p>
<p>The Wolverines lose five seniors this year including <strong>Sydney</strong> <strong>Zahnley</strong>, <strong>Kaylee</strong> <strong>Knaack</strong>, <strong>Cheyenne</strong> <strong>Hill</strong>, <strong>Taylor</strong> <strong>Knaack</strong>, and <strong>Reagan</strong> <strong>Bahrke. </strong> <span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Beau Todd (MH, 2021) </strong>2.3 KPS, the most on the team, 45 blocks, the most on the team, and 31 aces, and <strong>Maddie Thomas (2023) </strong>1.2 KPS, 2.0 DPS, the most for a returning player, and 43 aces, the most on this team.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Ridge View Raptors</strong></span></p>
<p>The Raptors lose five seniors this year including <strong>McKenna</strong> <strong>Albers</strong>, <strong>Hanna</strong> <strong>Blackmore</strong>, <strong>Veronica</strong> <strong>Kron</strong>, <strong>Kate</strong> <strong>Kofmehl</strong>, and <strong>Kenzee</strong> <strong>Wunschel. </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Hannah Grieme (S/DS, 2021) </strong>with 2.5 APS, <strong>Emma Vohs (OH, 2022) </strong>with 2.0 KPS, 31 blocks, 2.70 DPS, 54 aces with 87.7% serve efficiency, <strong>Morgan Todd (MH/OH, 2022) </strong>with 80 blocks, and <strong>Autumn Henkel (DS/L, 2021) </strong>with 2.5 DPS, 32 aces with 94.1% serve efficiency.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Siouxland Christian Eagles</strong></span></p>
<p>The Eagles lose three seniors this year including <strong>Riley</strong> <strong>Doenhoefer</strong>, <strong>Sarah</strong> <strong>Goetsch</strong>, and <strong>Sophie</strong> <strong>Klynsma. </strong> <span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Payton Doenhoefer (OH, 2022) </strong>with 2.3 KPS, 3.3 DPS, 38 aces, and 91.3% serve efficiency, <strong>Cassie Jones (DS, 2021) </strong>with 2.3 DPS and 90.5% serve efficiency, <strong>Daisey Hiserote (MH, 2021) </strong>with 21 blocks she is the best-returning blocker, and <strong>Sydney Seggerman (OH, 2022) </strong>with 20 blocks, 2.6 DPS, and 51 aces, the most on the team.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>West Monona Spartans</strong></span></p>
<p>The Spartans lose three seniors this year including <strong>Janie</strong> <strong>Koenig</strong>, <strong>Sara</strong> <strong>Maule</strong>, and <strong>Lexi</strong> <strong>Lander. </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Sierra Siebersma (OH, 2022) </strong>with 72 kills last season, 1.6 DPS, 36 blocks, and 97.5% serve efficiency, <strong>MaKayla Haynes (MH/OH, 2022) </strong>with 18 blocks and 92.4% serve efficiency, and <strong>Jada Smith (DS/OH, 2021) </strong>with 1.6 DPS, 20 aces, and 91.1% serve efficiency.</span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Westwood Rebels</strong></span></p>
<p>The Rebels lose five seniors this year including <strong>Katie</strong> <strong>Crawford</strong>, <strong>Jaycie</strong> <strong>McCluskey</strong>, <strong>Kaity</strong> <strong>Anderson</strong>, <strong>Sierra</strong> <strong>Hinrickson</strong>, and <strong>Samantha</strong> <strong>Thompson. </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Shelby Skinner (DS/L, 2021) </strong>with 5.1 APS, 42 aces with 90.2% serve efficiency, and 2.4 DPS, and <strong>Cora Shull (OH/DS, 2022) </strong>2.2 KPS, 1.4 DPS, and 26 aces. </span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Woodbury Central Wildcats</strong></span></p>
<p>The Wildcats lose three seniors this year including <strong>Pyper</strong> <strong>Gibbs</strong>, <strong>Stephanie</strong> <strong>Havlicek</strong>, and <strong>Sarah</strong> <strong>Nelson. </strong><span style="font-size: 1rem;">Players to watch in the coming season this fall are <strong>Lindsie Graff (S, 2021) </strong>with 5.9 APS, 2.40 DPS, 37 aces with 87.6% serve efficiency, <strong>Emma DeStigter (OH, 2021) </strong>with 2.8 KPS, 3.1 DPS, 24 aces with 95.7% serve efficiency, <strong>Camrin Baird (MH, 2022) </strong>with 44 blocks, <strong>Makayla Archer (L, 2022) </strong>with 2.90 DPS, 36 aces with 88.6% serve efficiency, ad <strong>Maddie Schultz (MH, 2022) </strong>with 18 blocks, team-high 38 aces with 94.0% serve efficiency.</span></p>
