Nike Cross Court Classic: 15 Open Pin Hitters Who Made an Impact

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Houston area just had one of its busiest weekends in the club season, with the traditional Nike Cross Court Classic coming to town.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The gigantic tournament brought over 700 club teams from Texas and beyond, split into 30 divisions, to the George R Brown Convention Center, in downtown, for two days of intense and fast-paced action between Saturday and Sunday.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li><strong><a href="https://prepdig.com/2026/03/nike-cross-court-classic-15-open-division-photos/">Nike Cross Court Classic - 15 Open Division Photos</a></strong></li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Dig Texas was on-site on Sunday morning, when we got to check out the top eight teams in the 15 Open Division, which were playing elimination rounds after ranking first or second in their pools on Saturday. There was some serious talent on the court, and now we'll list the prospects who caught our eye with their strong play. Her play made a big impact on her team's performance, as she managed to perform at a high level in different areas, while also avoiding errors. Pany had a big role in serve-receive, basically splitting the court with the team's libero in some rotations and showing great movement and technique to deliver the ball to her setter. Long and athletic, she was one of the team's main scoring weapons, putting the ball down at a good rate from the left and the right. Ehrlich made great use of her length to have an edge over opposing blockers and showed excellent vision and variation with her swings. She was one of the team's pillars, contributing at a large scale on both sides of the ball and delivering very solid performances, with few errors. Weikle was very explosive when she went for a swing, but also showed nice vision and the ability to change directions at the last moment. She was set at the middle back position quite often and scoring at a good rate, demonstrating excellent timing to her approach and the ability to swing into different directions. Her offense was very steady and productive, which made of her a go-to scoring option for the team. Brooks used her length extremely well and was very good at finding ways around the block, be it by hitting sharp angle or finding gaps between blockers.
