Burchett makes the simple passes and is not afraid to go the ground to make saves. Burchett has a great platform on first touches. Upperman head coach Tori Permenter praised Burchett for her great communication and leadership. Permenter added Burchett got voted one the captains this past season. Burchett’s ball control needs some work, but Burchett should get better there during club season with her work ethic. Burchett had a team-high 322 digs for Upperman in the fall, helping the Bees go 29-10 with a Division 1, Class AA, District 7 championship, a region championship and a spot in the state tournament.
