We're coming down to the wire here. Just in a few weeks teams will be duking it out in Orlando and Indianapolis looking to be crowned a national champion!

First, we have to go into the downtime of May. Every year there is one tournament to commence what I call the "regular season" of club volleyball before heading into June where we see the "post season" begin. There's no better place to be in the midwest to commence that regular season than Can Am Classic in Detroit!

There are a slew of dandies throughout this tournament. They aren't all in the open division! The Premier division for the 15s division is just as chock full of potential that you need to keep an eye on. Here are six of the best taking part in the 16 Premier Division at Can Am this weekend in Detroit.

Josephine McIntosh - Unified

At 6'3 as a freshman, the potential is off the charts for this player. Josephine McIntosh, or Joey, is a towering presence in the middle with a lot of showcase for upside. Her length at the net gives her a clear advantage in the field when it comes to blocking, when she's over the net, its done and sealed.

[player_tooltip player_id='850477' first='Wren' last='Frailey'] - Monster

[player_tooltip player_id='850477' first='Wren' last='Frailey'] made some nice impressions last summer at the freshman showcase and has thus far shown that she can keep up with the hype. At Monsters, Frailey is playing in a six rotation role that she offers up a lot in both her first contact as well as her third. Giving both a good sense of ball control and scoring range.

[player_tooltip player_id='895702' first='Iceiss' last='Morrison'] - Michigan Elite

This is a player that can really reach new heights, no pun intended, the latter part of this season. [player_tooltip player_id='895702' first='Iceiss' last='Morrison'] on the pins is a dominating presence at this level. When she can get ahold of the ball at her peak, its nearly an automatic point.

Kaia Bednarz - Michigan Elite

Seeing this player's development throughout the last few years has been impressive, Kaia Bednarz has truly been a player that has found her stride in this club season. She's small., but mighty and that's all you need in a player in this position.

[player_tooltip player_id='979311' first='Samantha' last='Boloch'] - Michigan Elite

[player_tooltip player_id='979311' first='Samantha' last='Boloch'] is one of the most exciting players to be entering the fold for the 2030 class. In the middle, Boloch has a bolstering presence standing at 6'1. Her size offers a lot of physicality at the net with a booming arm swing and a growing prowess in her block.

[player_tooltip player_id='979308' first='Mia' last='Zepeda'] - Michigan Elite

This is a pin attacker who is steadily becoming one of the more complete players in her young class. [player_tooltip player_id='979308' first='Mia' last='Zepeda'] is one of the go to options for 14 Mizuno on the left pin. She sees the court well and the vision proves to be deadly against her opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='979312' first='Kylie' last='Tuiasosopo'] - Legacy

I am going to be very intrigued to see this players career flourish in high school and [player_tooltip player_id='979312' first='Kylie' last='Tuiasosopo'] is just getting started. Her 14-2s team at Legacy is going to be competing in the 15 Premier bracket and this looks to be a welcomed challenge for the emerging talent and her squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='979317' first='Olivia' last='Burkert'] - Legacy

On the right side, [player_tooltip player_id='979317' first='Olivia' last='Burkert'] is very much Tuiasosopo's favorite weapon to unleash on her opponents. And once you see her take a crack on the ball, you'll fully understand why. It's not everyday you see such a promising opposite at this level, but that's what makes 14-2s so dangerous. Burkert is a game changer, one you should see for yourself.

[player_tooltip player_id='910109' first='Jasmine' last='Johnson'] - High Performance

For High Performance, if they can get this player running at a high level in the middle, they are going to be winning more times than not. [player_tooltip player_id='910109' first='Jasmine' last='Johnson'] is a promising middle blocker with a lot of upside in her play. Johnson is a springy athlete with a growing range of skillsets that makes her poised for success.
