The Class of 2022 is off and running with their recruiting process and here will be some athletes to keep tabs on. Some have already experienced success at the club and high school level, but the rest of their career has plenty of chapters left to write.

[player_tooltip player_id="31616" first="Lilly" last="Wachholz"] - Mayer Lutheran

Wachholz has the size and athleticism to really make an impact this year for Mayer Lutheran after the graduation of their twin towers in [player_tooltip player_id="71653" first="Claudia" last="Stahlke"] and [player_tooltip player_id="30258" first="Olivia" last="Tjernagel"]. Wachholz can swing from the pin, but she ultimately can contribute anywhere along the front line. With a developed backcourt game she could be scoring points from any rotation.

Tjernagel has committed to UNI, but Stahlke and Wachholz (Class of 2022) are both over six foot and VERY dynamic! pic.x.com/Olr4fAWCv2

[player_tooltip player_id="72776" first="Elle" last="Cotton"] - Elk River

I first saw Cotton play at the SW Minnesota Challenge last fall and was so impressed with how she could move, swing, set, and do a little bit of everything. Her Elk River team continued to win at the tournament and the trend continued all the way to the state tournament. With how Cotton can effectively contribute in so many ways with her versatility, she will be a great fit at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id="72762" first="Natalee" last="Rolbiecki"] - Minneota

Sweats athleticism, Rolbiiecki is the type of athlete who can make something out of nothing and has been a key part in Minneota’s state title runs not only in volleyball, but basketball as well. An outside hitter who plays all around, she is always cool, calm, and collected which gives her the edge when the competition level raises and the game is tight - definitely one you want going for the big swing in a critical moment.

[player_tooltip player_id="72766" first="Maddie" last="Converse"] - Kasson-Mantorville

Converse is another who was thrown to the fire her freshman year setting for Kasson-Mantorville enroute to a final four appearance in Class AA. She is well trained, high IQ, and knows how to compete against high level competition. K-M always has a strong program and she will be a key leader as an upperclassmen in 2020.

[player_tooltip player_id="72770" first="Kylie" last="Stremmel"] - Champlin Park

Coach John Yunker always has a team that is well trained and prepared. [player_tooltip player_id="72770" first="Kylie" last="Stremmel"] is a key defensive player for the Rebels where they will have some new faces this fall to replace a strong Senior class. Strong athlete, solid platform, Stremmel will be fun to see through high school and club the next two seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id="84530" first="Olivia" last="Teske"] - Minneapolis South

Teske can sky! She is an outside hitter that is incredibly dynamic. With her ability to score points and create shots to get the other side of the net out of system, she is incredibly active. She is the type of player who is contagious with her energy to her teammates which was very apparent at the JVA Showcase at Wisconsin Dells.

[player_tooltip player_id="72771" first="Sadie" last="Voss"] - Jackson County Central

Voss has all the shots in the book where she can score going hard cross, extremely sharp cross, and then find the deep corner down the line. She can even score points in the back row as well. JCC plays in a tough conference in SW Minnesota and Voss will be one of the top players to score points in their league.

[player_tooltip player_id="72828" first="Braiziah" last="Dixon"] - Woodbury

Dixon is another big leaper who was able to team up with Teske on the M1 16-1 team. She is dynamic, athletic, and can make a major presence along the net with her defense and ability to score in system.
