2030 Watchlist – Meet Five Prospects Standing 5’10”+

Nevada's Class of 2030 is already showing serious size, athleticism, and upside at a young age. These six prospects standing 5'10” and taller are beginning to separate themselves early with their physical tools, versatility, and ability to impact matches in multiple ways. From dominant middle blockers to explosive six-rotation outsides, this group has the potential to become a major storyline over the next few years. As they continue developing through club, high school volleyball, camps, and national-level competition, expect college coaches to eventually have these names circled.    Atley has quickly become one of the more intriguing young middle blockers in Nevada after emerging as an immediate standout during club season. She is a force at the net with a huge block and the ability to completely change momentum defensively. What makes her even more dangerous is her versatility. Atley can slide over to the pins and still be just as lethal offensively, consistently putting the ball straight down with authority. Her explosive approach allows her to elevate strong and attack aggressively above the net. Between her size, athleticism, and skill level, Atley already looks like a prospect capable of catching the attention of high-level college programs once she gains more experience through high school volleyball, showcases, and camps. Simply put, she is far above average for her age group.     Margot brings a strong all-around game and already shows advanced skills that separate her from many players in her class. One thing that immediately stands out is her ability to execute a short jump float serve already, a weapon that causes problems for opposing teams. Offensively, she has a clean approach with long arms that allow her to attack at a high point while generating power. She is aggressive at the net, blocks well, and does a great job hitting past or around blockers for kills. Margot also has versatility with experience playing both middle and pin positions. She played a major role in helping her team secure a national bid after winning first place at the Red Rock Rave, showing she can contribute on a winning stage.     Tea is already proving herself as an impactful young outside hitter in Nevada's 2030 class. She combines an explosive approach with strong all-around skills that make her a true difference maker on the court. Offensively, she is capable of hitting over blocks and terminating in key moments, while defensively she reads the game well and consistently steps into seams and holes to keep plays alive. She is willing to get on the floor and compete for every point, which adds another layer to her game. Tea also brings value behind the service line with a tough float serve and continues to show reliability in serve receive. She already looks like a complete player, and her ceiling only continues to rise from here.     Malia is quickly developing into one of the more exciting young outside hitters to watch in Nevada's 2030 class. She should make an immediate impact once her high school career begins thanks to her strong swing, athleticism, and ability to reach over blockers in her age group. Watching her compete, she consistently stands out because of how explosive and bouncy she is offensively. Her contagious energy gives her team a boost every time she steps on the floor. She will also be attending the UA Next Middle School Camp Series, where she'll have the chance to showcase her game against strong California competition. Off the court, Malia also carries a 4.0 GPA, adding another impressive layer to her profile.     Jillian is an aggressive attacker with a heavy arm swing that makes her a player teammates depend on when it is time to end a rally. If there is a hole in the block or a solo blocker waiting, she is going to find it and put the ball away. Her versatility has also been impressive, as she has experience playing both middle blocker and outside hitter between school and club volleyball. Jillian is currently playing up a year on the Top Flight Volleyball Academy 15 National Black team, which speaks volumes about her ability and competitiveness. One of the more advanced parts of her game is her ability to successfully attack out-of-system balls with power, something many players her age still struggle with.
