Five TVBCA All-State Division II-A Solid Returning Players

Schmoke smacks balls through holes in between blockers and powers down short ones and gap shots with authority. Schmoke also executes slides with precision with her size and high attack point. Schmoke takes outstanding final two steps and follows through with a steep downward trajectory. Schmoke puts down overpassed balls in windows (no blockers) with preision. Schmoke is also a sound swing blocker. Blosser is a force at the net. She rises up and stuffs ones on solo blocks and nice places down overpassed balls. She does not rush things. Roland times up her approaches and extensions to put the right amount of power into balls. Roland gets on top of balls to hit over and around double blocks. Roland has an 87-inch standing reach and a high attack point. Roland angles balls off blocks for big points and rainbows off shots to the back line. She squares her body up to balls and does a great job handling both hard and soft hits. Givens lunges after balls when needed, yet stays under control for the most part. Givens does not hide behind blocks and sends across deceptive jump serves. Johnson has good hands and takes full advantage of the talented hitters surrounding her. Johnson executes sound short, back and long sets.
