Theobald is another setter from the Freshman Stock Up Showcase who I think has a bright future ahead of her. She has a consistent height to her ball, moves well to get to everything, and does a nice job spreading the offense around and getting all of her hitters involved. She also has quite the range when it comes to out of system setting. Rather than passing the ball with a platform, she is able to get underneath it and deliver a set, even from tough positions. That not only showcases how elevated her game is but also allows her to give her pins more precise and hittable sets when things aren’t perfect. We can’t wait to see more of her.
