While Grand Rapids got its own look, here are some of the other teams out West that are apart from the GR area that will have some stacked senior classes this fall.

BC St. Philip

The Fighting Tigers are always a threat to make a run in Division 4. While the roster isn't always big, this year's team will have a largely senior class. That includes setter/right side Addison Dzwik, who will be a vocal leader that can also bring the best out of her hitters. [player_tooltip player_id='810425' first='Adriana' last='Olsen'] is a 6-foot returning senior middle that gives BCSP an imposing option at the net. Ellery Downey is also a returning setter, while [player_tooltip player_id='812819' first='Eleanor' last='Jaconette'] is another senior middle with experience. Mylee Grimm will be a returning libero to provide experience and leadership in the back row.

Edwardsburg

The Eddies have been known for producing some of the best hitters in the state over recent years. That could be the case again in 2026 with senior outside [player_tooltip player_id='825043' first='Ella' last='Laskowski']. She's going to lead this Edwardsburg program next fall and will do so along returning senior Rylie Rosenkrantz, who can push a good pace with the offense. [player_tooltip player_id='844462' first='Shelby' last='Laubach'] is also a returning senior that can play the right side or the middle to help the attack, while senior [player_tooltip player_id='799080' first='Sophie' last='Kuntz'] will be back at libero to lock down the defense.

Kalamazoo Christian

The D3 finalist and perennial power is going to bring back a strong crew of senior leaders for 2026. Leading the way will be outside hitters Elli VanDusen and [player_tooltip player_id='805267' first='Eliana' last='Keller'], who will give this offense plenty of firepower. Defensively, the Comets will have a pair of senior players to utilize in [player_tooltip player_id='792411' first='Bevin' last='Maskill'] and Ellory Zuiderveen.

Otsego

The Bulldogs were a pretty young team in 2025, but 2026 will see Otsego led by some talented seniors. [player_tooltip player_id='836682' first='Olivia' last='Klimp'] and Brooke Smalldon are a potent connection on the outside for Otsego, with each able to take over a match. Stella Houseman and [player_tooltip player_id='817220' first='Mya' last='Engbers'] will also be back as seniors to provide hitting depth for the Bulldogs. Maddy Littel will be a returning senior setter that knows where her hitters need the ball, while libero [player_tooltip player_id='803194' first='Peyton' last='Johnson'] is also entering her senior year to make this a very veteran lineup.

Plainwell

The Trojans were junior-heavy in 2025, which should lead to big things in 2026 behind a senior class of nine players. [player_tooltip player_id='442228' first='Avery' last='Thorp'] (Grand Valley State) is a player that can be dominant in the middle with her 6'2” frame and good footwork. [player_tooltip player_id='513265' first='Anna' last='Overway'] (Northwood) is a hard-working outside that can spark the offense in a big way as well. Kaylee VanAtter and Tessie Kiel will add experienced depth at the net, while Brooke Lyons is a returning senior setter. [player_tooltip player_id='795006' first='Jordyn' last='Erdody'] also will be back as a senior libero, giving this team a lot of big-match experience around the rotation.

Portage Central

The Mustangs are going to be loaded with their senior class, led by outside hitter [player_tooltip player_id='490373' first='Kate' last='Colosky'], a Long Beach State commit. She returns her senior teammates at the net in [player_tooltip player_id='833455' first='Julie' last='Kucera'] and [player_tooltip player_id='840109' first='Avalon' last='Chumita']. These three led the attack in 2025, which means the offense is going to have the ability to be dominant.

Vicksburg

In Division 2, keep an eye out for Vicksburg, which is going to be led by an impressive group of seniors. On the attack, [player_tooltip player_id='523843' first='Addison' last='Naplin'] (Lee College) and [player_tooltip player_id='699957' first='Brynn' last='Swetz'] are going to be a potent 1-2 punch that have shown they can put the ball away at a high rate. Defensively, Jenna Schramer will be back at libero after having nearly 500 digs as a junior. Livia Kline also returns to provide depth in the back row.
