From dominant net play to elite ball control and offensive firepower, competitors delivered standout performances throughout the weekend. Several players elevated their teams with consistent production in critical moments, while others demonstrated the versatility and leadership that college coaches value. The depth of talent on display created highly competitive matches and highlighted the strength of the region's 17s age group. Wassweiler showed excellent court awareness and moved efficiently along the net, allowing her to remain involved in a variety of situations. She was a reliable offensive option from the left pin, generating points with both power and smart shot selection. In addition to her attacking responsibilities, Golden contributed heavily in serve receive and defensive coverage, proving her value as a multi-rotation player. She remained composed in pressure situations and consistently found ways to keep her team in rhythm. Defensively, she used her length and timing to disrupt opposing offenses and generate valuable blocking touches. Benesh competed with confidence and demonstrated the ability to impact rallies beyond the stat sheet. Edwards remained engaged throughout every rally and showed the competitive drive coaches love to see. She distributed the ball effectively, keeping hitters involved and making smart decisions based on defensive matchups. Her ability to manage tempo and create favorable attacking situations allowed her offense to operate efficiently throughout the event. Kohl also contributed defensively and displayed strong leadership during key stretches of competition. The setter's poise and court command stood out against quality opponents all weekend long.
