
Abby Snethen | Prep Dig Scout
Abby Snethen is a Portland, Oregon native, who attended and played volleyball at Lincoln High School. She went on to play college volleyball for a private Division One school on the East Coast for two years before transferring to Central Washington University and finishing her volleyball career as a Division Two athlete. Snethen studied cultural anthropology at CWU before obtaining her master's in journalism at the University of Oregon. Snethen was a head volleyball coach for Yakima Elite Volleyball Club in 2024 whilst finishing her senior year at CWU. Her passion for volleyball started in 2014 when her mother encouraged her to try out for her middle school team and she stuck with the sport ever since. She currently coaches for All Around Volleyball Academy, a Portland based club ran by Emma Adams, a previous Prep Dig volleyball scout. Abby's love for the sport is ever growing. She's working to continue the use of her volleyball I.Q. and skills in journalism to exceed expectations and push boundaries.
