Anthony Jones | Prep Dig Scout
My name is Anthony Jones and I have been around the sport of volleyball for 13 years. During those 13 years I have filled numerous roles from head varsity volleyball coach, head varsity beach coach, and head coach for multiple clubs in the valley. As a Head Varsity Volleyball coach I have over 250 wins which also includes 6 region championships, 2 state runners up, 7 region coach of the year awards and 3 conference coach of the year awards. As a club coach I have been to both AAU and USAV nationals multiple times, which includes earning bids to USAV each year I have gone. I have sent numerous student athletes to the next level in volleyball for both court and beach, but also loved that some of my athletes have gone for college athletics in but basketball, track and field, soccer, and softball. However I would say the game of volleyball is more than wins and loses, I have also volunteered in recreational leagues, I have reffed for the AIA, USAV, and YMAC, and help run the biggest AIA volleyball tournament in the state of Arizona as well. I just love the game and giving back in any way I can, which will now include scouting and giving the praise to the amazing athletes of this state.
