Jason Holt | Prep Dig Scout
Jason Holt brings more than 30 years of volleyball experience as a coach, recruiter, and official at the high school, club, and collegiate levels. His coaching career includes serving as a head coach at Central High School in Independence, Oregon, Sprague High School in Salem, and NCAA Division II Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he started the program women’s volleyball program and led it for 11 years.
Holt has also spent several years working in collegiate recruiting, most recently as a Senior Recruiting Coach with NCSA College Recruiting. In that role, he worked with student-athletes and families across the country, helping them navigate the recruiting process, identify appropriate college opportunities, and better understand what coaches look for in prospective student-athletes. His combined experience as a collegiate head coach and recruiting professional gives him a unique perspective when evaluating players and projecting their potential at the next level.
In addition to coaching and recruiting, Holt is an experienced volleyball official who works high school and club volleyball throughout the Pacific Northwest and continues to pursue opportunities at the collegiate level. His involvement in nearly every side of the sport has developed an extensive volleyball IQ and a strong appreciation for the athletes, coaches, families, and communities that make volleyball special.
As a PrepDig scout, Holt looks forward to using his decades of experience evaluating talent to highlight deserving student-athletes throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest, helping players gain recognition and exposure while sharing their stories with the broader volleyball community.
