I am a USAV-certified coach and the founder of Volleyball University. With over 16 years of coaching experience, I’ve had the privilege of guiding players of ALL levels—beginners to advanced, young to adult—towards their volleyball dreams. But my journey wasn’t always a smooth ride. As a young player, I faced many of the same challenges you/your child might be experiencing right now. There was a time when I was often on the bench and I even got cut from the team during my sophomore year of high school. Despite these setbacks, I never gave up. I dedicated myself to daily training and eventually worked my way up to Varsity Captain, All-Conference, and Team MVP by my senior year. These experiences shaped my passion for coaching and led me to create Volleyball University (VBU). At VBU, our mission is to offer every volleyball player—regardless of their background or experience—the chance to thrive. We believe in the power of volleyball to bring joy, learning, and personal growth. Our focus is on supporting and nurturing the athletes, recognizing the unique challenges they face, and helping them realize their FULL potential. Volleyball University is more than a place to learn technical skills; it’s a supportive and inclusive community where players can overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. Our aim is not only to develop volleyball skills but also to inspire personal growth and confidence that extends beyond the court.Utilizing coaching resources designed to educate and inspire athletes to become better players, we are dedicated to making volleyball a source of enduring fulfillment, growth, and happiness for every player.
