I am a volleyball scout and recruiting analyst with PrepDig Arkansas, primarily covering Central and South Arkansas while also contributing to statewide coverage alongside Halle Roberts. My background in athletics began as a former college baseball player and coach with nearly 30 years of coaching experience. I transitioned into volleyball recruiting after helping my stepdaughter through the recruiting process. What started with filming matches, creating highlight videos, and assisting with recruiting communication quickly grew into a passion for helping athletes across Arkansas gain exposure and opportunities at the next level. In 2024, I launched BDS Recruiting, a free recruiting and exposure platform focused on promoting Arkansas volleyball players through evaluations, graphics, rankings, scouting reports, podcasts, and recruiting education content. My goal has always been to provide honest evaluations, meaningful exposure, and practical recruiting guidance for athletes and families navigating the process. I also host the BDS Arkansas Volleyball Podcast, where I feature coaches, athletes, club directors, and recruiting discussions focused on the continued growth of volleyball in Arkansas. My scouting approach focuses heavily on long-term projection, athletic traits, competitive mindset, measurable development, and how athletes translate to the college level. I believe Arkansas volleyball continues to grow at every level, and I am committed to helping shine a larger spotlight on the players, coaches, and programs helping move the sport forward in this state.
