About Abigail

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a middle blocker who can play all around the court, with hitting as my biggest strength. I bring determination and positivity to every game, encouraging teammates and staying resilient after mistakes, while always looking for the opposing team’s weaknesses to make smart plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a disciplined and focused student-athlete who embraces challenges and encourages my teammates to do their best. Friends and teachers describe me as kind, level-headed, and empathetic, and I am passionate about sports, art, and supporting those around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I earn Honor Roll and Principal’s List recognition each year for my academics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a disciplined student-athlete who thrives in both volleyball and soccer. In volleyball, I was asked to play up in age and level at my former club, helping the team climb in national rankings. I also serve as captain of my club soccer team and mentor younger students, recognized as a leader both on and off the field, while maintaining straight A's.

What type of college are you looking for?

A university with a beautiful campus within a vibrant community. A university known for educational excellence and serious athletics, while still maintaining affordability. I'd also like to ensure that while I work towards my career, there will be resources to find opportunities and gain real hands-on experience in my field of study.
