Rockwood Thunder is always producing high level athletes who find a way to contribute for their programs at the collegiate level. Abigail Schoene has been a setter for the club out of St. Louis where she will head to Baylor following her high school and club career. Schoene has textbook footwork and hands where she is able to set the ball at the highest point where she is sure to get it to her middles. She’s also not afraid to take a risk where she can chuck it from pin to pin. She has prepped at Timbaland High School just west of St. Louis where collected over 2,000 assist, nearly 800 digs, and nearly 500 kills in her career.

Abby achieved her 1000th career high school varsity assist on 9/17/2024 against Forth Zumwalt East. This is only her 2nd season setting for Timberland. As a freshman she filled the role of a right side hitter. Her 1000th assist was a one handed set to outside hitter Abby Chall. Abby has committed to set for Baylor University for the class of 2026.

Abigail is the #1 ranked setter in Missouri and also nationally ranked in her class. She is so gritty and dynamic it is hard not to be impressed by her. She runs the offense for a very competitive Rockwood Thunder team. She is a tough defender and a super well-rounded player.
