Swain is flat-out smooth with her sets. Her sound club experience shows each time Swain takes the court. She makes sure the hitters can get on top of balls to place them to different parts of the court. She has developed quick hands and has been build on them during club season. Swain takes big swings on the right side when the team needs a big point.

Swain (pictured) used her club experience to take control of running the offense for the Pirates. Swain consistently puts up precise sets getting a number of hitters involved and records a number of dimes on first touches. She’ll continue to refine those skills during club season. Swain also takes sound swings from the opposite hitter spot. Swain had 674 assists and 172 digs, helping Belfry win a sixth straight 60th District championship.

Swain has stepped into the setter spot for the Pirates and taken the bull by the horns. Swain consistently makes spot-on sets so her hitters can take great swings at them. Swain also makes good passes and is turning into a sound server for Belfry. Belfry head coach Hannah Muncy said Swain has exceeded her expectations running the offense.

Swain’s experience in club volleyball has helped her step into the important setter role for the Pirates. Swain puts good touch on her sets, giving the hitters ample opportunity to take good swings. Swain has a deceptive setover and push to the corners. Swain also puts up nice line drive serves to various openings on the court.
